CAUAYAN CITY — The political clans of the Dys and the Albanos are still a force to reckon with in Isabela politics as the two clans have candidates in most of the cities and towns in the province.
The Dys, in particular, have six candidates in the provincial level, led by Echague Mayor Francis Faustino "Kiko" Dy, who is running unopposed for vice governor, a position held by his father, incumbent Vice Gov. Faustino "Bojie" Dy III, who is running for representative of the province's sixth district.
