Danao backs Garcia's challenger

CEBU CITY — The only local government unit in Cebu that is not part of Gov. Gwendolyn Garcia's ruling party One Cebu has formally endorsed the candidacy of Pamela 'Pam' Baricuatro, who is challenging Garcia's bid for a sixth term.

Danao City's Durano political clan, headed by incumbent Vice Mayor Ramon 'Nito' Durano III, announced the endorsement during a press conference held at the Durano compound on Friday.
