Easterlies, shear line to prevail - Pagasa

MANILA, Philippines — The easterlies, shear line and localized thunderstorms will continue to affect the country, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Sunday.

Weather specialist Grace Castañeda said that the shear line – where the hot and cold air converge – is affecting extreme Northern Luzon particularly Batanes and Babuyan Islands where cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms would be likely.
