FORMER PTV 4 reporter turned public servant Julius 'JD' Disamburun filed his certificate of candidacy for councilor in District 1 of Parañaque City. He was accompanied by his wife, family and supporters.

Disamburun, tagged as 'Media man ng nayan' and 'KONSIstent sa pagseserbisyo,' would be running under the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan or PDP-Laban. Aside from being a media personality, he has also been serving the Muslim community, holding the position of Chief of Public Information and Media Affairs at Manila Political Affairs Office and a former ex-officio member of Policy and Legislative Affairs of a Parliament Member in Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.
