CEBU CITY — Four candidates from Cebu City's leading political parties are set to compete in what could be an interesting mayoral derby that will define the future leadership in this first class highly urbanized city in Central Visayas.

Leading the contest is Barug Team's Michael Rama who is determined to reclaim his position following his removal from office. He will be up against Kusug Party's Raymond Alvin Garcia, who was recently installed as the city mayor after a brief stint as acting mayor that followed the Ombudsman's suspension of Rama.
