DITO Telecommunity, the country's fastest-growing telco, has launched DITO Home WOWFi, the world's first 5G RedCap technology Wi-Fi designed for home use. This innovation, powered by DITO's standalone (SA) 'true 5G' network, was developed in partnership with Huawei Technologies, a global leader in 5G deployment. DITO's new product offers internet speeds of up to 100 Mbps, providing more Filipinos with affordable access to the full potential of 5G technology.

Evelyn Jimenez, DITO's chief revenue officer for Consumer Business, emphasized that WOWFi aims to disrupt the market by offering better internet options tailored to Filipino households' needs. 'Filipino households currently face limitations with their internet options. You can get fast, unlimited internet, but it's expensive; fast and affordable internet, but with data limits; or affordable, unlimited internet, but it's slow,' Jimenez explained. 'We want to change the norm by providing fast, unlimited, and affordable home internet for Filipinos.'
