TNT leaned on the hot hands of Calvin Oftana and Rey Nambatac in a critical third quarter scoring rampage to rip Rain or Shine, 108-91, and grab a 2-0 cushion in their PBA Season 49 Governors' Cup semifinal series on Friday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
Oftana and Nambatac, a former Rain or Shine guard, combined to score 24 of the Tropang Giga's 38 points in the third period that enabled them to turn a shaky three-point lead from halftime into an 85-65 bulge heading into the last quarter.
