INTERNATIONAL Container Terminal Services Inc. (ICTSI) said Thursday that it would be taking legal action against Maersk's having contested South Africa's decision to award a concession to the Philippine-based global port operator.
In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE), the Razon-led port operator said that the South African High Court's Kwazulu Natal Division had "issued an injunction against Transnet's selection of ICTSI as operating partner for the Durban Container Terminal Pier 2 (DCT2) due to a protest filed by a losing bidder."
