The Office of the Ombudsman ordered the preventive suspension without pay of Porac Mayor Jaime Capil, Vice Mayor Francis Laurence Tamayo and several others including town councilors.
In an 11-page order signed by Ombudsman Samuel Martires last October 7, the Ombudsman preventively suspended Capil, Tamayo and Councilors Rohner Buan, Rafael Canlapan, Adrian Carreon, Regin Clarete, Essel Joy David, Hilario Dimalanta, Michelle Santos, and John Nuevy Venzon. Emerald Vital, licensing assistant and officer in charge of the Business Permit and Licensing Office BPLO), was also suspended.
