MANY women and young girls face fears daily — fears of not being enough, of being limited by gender, or losing basic rights like education and a carefree life. However, the experiences of news reporter Mav Gonzales, social media personality Janina Vela, and table tennis athlete Zachi Chua show that with the right support and guidance, girls can overcome these fears and achieve their potential.

At a recent school tour for World Vision's #GirlsCan campaign, held at iACADEMY in Makati, these inspiring women shared their personal stories with young female students. Mav Gonzales, a reporter for the documentary show i-Witness, admitted to feeling insecure early in her career. 'Sometimes I questioned if I deserved the opportunity,' she said.
