MANILA, Philippines — Riding on the crest of his sensational technical knockout win against Jorge Castaneda, Charly Suarez is now getting closer to a world title shot.
Suarez returned home a hero following a third-round stoppage of Castaneda last September 20 at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona, and is now setting his sights on a potential world championship bout with Emmanuel Navarrete, the title holder of the World Boxing Organization junior featherweight crown.
