Mandaue to vote own PB representatives

CEBU CITY — Mandaue City residents will elect their own representatives to the provincial board (PB) of Cebu for the first time, following a Supreme Court ruling that grants the city separate representation as a lone legislative district.

Mandaue City election officer Annafleur Gujilde said that the ruling, based on a June 2023 Supreme Court decision, entitles the city to elect two PB members exclusively for Mandaue in the 2025 midterm elections.
