MALABON City Rep. Josephine Veronique 'Jaye' Lacson-Noel filed on Monday her certificate of candidacy (CoC) to challenge incumbent Mayor Jeannie Sandoval, who is seeking a second term in the May 2025 midterm elections.
Accompanied by her family — An-Waray Party-list Rep. Florencio Gabriel 'Bem' Noel, who earlier submitted his CoC for the city's lone congressional post; their son Councilor Nino Lacson; his two siblings and her parents, Lacson-Noel filed her CoC at the Commission on Elections office at Robinsons Malabon.
