VIENTIANE, Laos — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Tuesday arrived here to participate in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) Summit, where he is expected to highlight the country's position on key regional and global issues, including the recent developments in the West Philippine Sea.

The presidential plane carrying Marcos and the entire Philippine delegation landed at the Wattay International Airport at 3:16 p.m (past 4:16 p.m Manila time).
