SMB rides on Fajardo's 40-20 effort to boot out Converge, seals last semis seat

MANILA, Philippines — June Mar Fajardo finished with a herculean effort of 40 points and 24 rebounds as San Miguel Beer outlasted a fighting Converge side, 109-105 to advance to the PBA Season 49 Governors' Cup semifinals on Sunday night at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.

The SMB man-mountain of a center saved his best in the final game of the series where the loser goes home for an early vacation.
