MANILA, Philippines — Rain or Shine showed nerves of steel in mounting a comeback from a double-digit deficit to deal the decisive knockout on Magnolia, 113-103 en route to clinching the semifinal spot in the PBA Season 49 Governors' Cup on Saturday night at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.
Andrei Caracut supplied the solid offense after pouring all of his 14 points in the second half, while import Aaron Fuller and Jhonard Clarito provided the stability on both ends of the floor, allowing the Elasto Painters to outgun the Hotshots, 61-48 in the last two periods to win their quarterfinal series, 3-2.
