PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Thursday assured the public that the government is on top of the situation, saying that the standard operating procedures (SOPs) for disaster response are "in place."
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the "Lab For All" program in Pasig City, Marcos said the government is currently monitoring the situation in Taal Volcano to see what areas need special attention following its eruption on Wednesday.
