Sotto confirms owners of dropped construction company from Comelec deal running in Pasig

MANILA, Philippines — Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto said that the owners of a construction company, one of the partners of the Commission on Elections for the 2025 midterm polls, were planning to file their candidacies in his city..

On his Threads handle, Sotto first thanked Comelec Commissioner George Garcia for acting to preserve the polls' integrity, but urged the public to remain on guard.
