THE Department of Tourism (DoT) welcomed the inclusion of two of the country's famed beaches, Boracay and Cebu, in Agoda's list of the 10 most searched beach getaways in Southeast Asia.

Boracay clinched the 9th spot, and Cebu the 10th, underscoring "the growing global recognition of the country's stunning beaches," Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco said in a statement on Thursday.
