MANILA, Philippines — Social Security System (SSS) President and Chief Executive Officer Rolando Ledesma Macasaet has resigned after accepting his nomination to represent a party-list.

Macasaet submitted his irrevocable resignation to President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Thursday.
