Candidates told to file CoCs early in Cebu

CEBU CITY — Election officers in Cebu urged candidates for the 2025 midterm elections to submit their certificates of candidacy (CoCs) early, following a low turnout on the first day of filing on Tuesday.

Cebu provincial election supervisor Marchel Sarno advised candidates to take advantage of the early filing window to avoid any last-minute issues and potential errors in their CoCs.
