Suwon KT outlasts SMB in solid EASL debut

MANILA, Philippines — San Miguel Beer failed to sustain its strong first half effort, yielding to the visiting Suwon KT Sonicboom, 87-81 in the kickoff game of East Asia Super League Season 2 home-and-away on Wednesday at the Mall of Asia Arena.

The Beermen failed to contain Sonicboom import Rashaun Hammonds, who dropped 39 and grabbed 14 rebounds.
