NHCP observes Macapagal 114th birth anniversary

THE National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) together with the Municipal Government of Lubao, Pampanga, spearheaded a simple commemorative rite of Diosdado Macapagal's 114th birth anniversary at the Museo at Aklatan ni Diosdado Macapagal on Sept. 28, 2024.

Mayor Esmeralda Pineda spearheaded the flag-raising and wreath-laying rites. She was joined by NHCP Executive Director Carminda Arevalo, Pampanga Gov. Dennis Pineda, Vice Governor Lilia Pineda, and Diosdado Macapagal descendant, Cielo Salgado.
