COTABATO CITY — The Commission on Elections (Comelec) in this city has coordinated with the Philippine National Police to tighten security measures during the filing of certificates of candidacy (CoCs) from Oct. 1 to 8, 2024.
Cotabato City election officer Norpaisa Paglala-Manduyog, Maguindanao del Norte election officer Mohammad Nabil Mutia and Cotabato City police director Col. Joel Estaris jointly announced during a press conference on Thursday that safety remains a priority during the weeklong filing of CoCs.
