Slain rape victim's mother files charges vs husband

BACOLOD CITY — The mother of a Grade 10 student who was found dead in a sugarcane field in La Carlota City in Negros Occidental in July this year has filed a rape case against her live-in partner.

Jennifer Galve, the mother of the victim, Pearl Joy Galve, filed the case before the City Prosecutor's Office against her live-in partner identified as Rene Nacis on Wednesday.
