Garcia names new head of Cebu City police

CEBU CITY — Acting Mayor Raymond Alvin Garcia has appointed Col. Antonietto Cañete as the new director of the Cebu City Police Office.

This confirmation comes after the permanency of his position was initially put on hold while he was tasked with addressing key criminal cases in the city.
