ON September 25, the Senate Finance Subcommittee C, led by Sen. Ronald de la Rosa, approved the 2025 budget for the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation, and Unity (Opapru). This follows the House of Representatives' approval of the agency's funding.

Presidential Peace Adviser Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr. presented a proposed P7.094 billion budget, a 2.7 percent increase from 2024.
