MANILA, Philippines — Mike Phillips is notorious for his immense hustle and energy for the De La Salle Green Archers, a double-double threat every game.

And on Saturday, Phillips' energy just went supernova, fueled by grief over the death of someone he's grown to love in La Salle dorm guard Doleo Susalta whom he said passed away two days ago.
