MANILA, Philippines — Defending champ De La Salle denied UST, 88-67, to take its second straight win in the UAAP Season 87 men's basketball tournament at the Smart Araneta Coliseum Sunday.
The Green Archers pulled away from the Growling Tigers in the final frame which they started with an 8-0 run, turning a 61-52 lead to a 17-point, 69-52 advantage.
