Probe on 'flying voters for a fee' scheme sought

RESIDENTS of Cabiao in Nueva Ecija have called on the Commission on Elections (Comelec) to immediately look into the alleged widespread "flying voters for a fee" scheme that is allegedly taking place in the town.

According to the residents, this fraudulent operation is allegedly led by "political operators" who take advantage of the supposed loophole in the Omnibus Election Code which allows voters to transfer their registration from one district, city or municipality to another.
