42 arrested for betting on spider fights in Cebu City

CEBU CITY — Police arrested 42 individuals in Barangay Lorega, Cebu City, on Tuesday, after they were caught in the act of betting on spiders fights, locally known as 'kaka.'

Acting on a tip from a concerned citizen who reported the late night disturbance via the 911 national hotline, officers conducted a raid shortly after midnight.
