THE Senate was scheduled for a legislative recess from September 28 to November 3, to allow members seeking re-election to file their certificates of candidacy for the May 2025 midterm polls.
Sens. Bong Go, Imee Marcos, Ronald de la Rosa, Bong Revilla, Francis Tolentino, Lito Lapid and Pia Cayetano were among those eligible for re-election.
