Luxembourg and Belgium are preparing to welcome Pope Francis, who will visit the two countries during a trip starting on Sept. 26, 2024. The main reason for the Pope's tour is to celebrate the 600th anniversary of two Belgian Catholic universities, KU Leuven and UCLouvain. Francis will visit Luxembourg before heading to Brussels, the Belgian capital. The pope returns to Rome on September 29 after leading the Eucharist in the King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels.
