Import Jalen Jones provided the crucial third quarter spark as Converge mowed Magnolia, 89-82, to secure the No. 3 seed in Group A in the PBA Season 49 Governors' Cup Monday night at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium in Malate, Manila.
Jones finished with 27 points and 12 rebounds to lead the FiberXers, who bucked a sluggish start by outscoring the Hotshots, 32-18, to seize control of the game and score a victory at the close of the double-round eliminations.
