THREE control gates of Ambuklao and Binga Dams in Benguet province have been opened to release water as they near spilling levels.

Hydrologists from the Hydrometeorology Division of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that as of 8 a.m. on Sunday, two gates of Ambuklao Dam in Bokod town were opened with an outflow of 66 centimeters.
