Maroons smother Tamaraws to go 4-0 in UAAP

MANILA, Philippines — The UP Fighting Maroons smothered the FEU Tamaraws, 69-58, at the Mall of Asia Arena on Sunday, September 22 to go 4-0 in the UAAP Season 87 men's basketball tournament.

A 20-7 second quarter avalanche spelled the difference for UP which pulled away from a 19-15 advantage to enter the half with a 39-22 advantage.
