ON September 22 and 23, the United Nations will hold its annual summit of national leaders at the General Assembly hall of its headquarters, along New York's East River.

Dubbed "The Summit of the Future" this year, the event is different from the previous gatherings of presidents, prime ministers and other national leaders because it actually aims to produce more than the succession of in-person or online speeches by heads of state or government.
