MANILA, Philippines — Pope Francis has appointed Marcelino Antonio Maralit Jr. as the new bishop of the City of San Pablo in Laguna province.
The Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) said that the appointment of Maralit was announced in Rome on Saturday.
