BAGUIO CITY — The City Environment and Parks Management Office (Cepmo) headed by Rhenan Diwas has issued a total of 224 notices against individuals caught illegally disposing wastewater, septage and discards like grease, as well as engaging in illegal hog raising or illegal burning in the Summer Capital.
Assistant Cepmo head Marivic Empizo said they have collected a total of P115,000 in fines slapped against a number of violators, including households and establishments with leaking or overflowing septic tanks, illegal piggeries directly discharging wastewater to the sewer or canals and establishments that dump grease, and used oil into the sewer, households burning wastes.
