VALENZUELA Mayor Weslie Gatchalian announced on Friday that the local government has just launched its mega pumping station worth P400 million that covers two adjoining flood-prone villages in the city.

Expected to significantly minimize flooding, the 25th pumping station built by the city government, residents in Barangay Veinte Reales and Barangay Lingunan would now have reason to rejoice, Gatchalian said.
