BACOLOD CITY — Six leaders of transport groups in Bacolod City opposing the government's transportation modernization program were arrested by the Bacolod City Police Office in front of a hotel along a major thoroughfare on Wednesday.
Arrested were Rudy Catedral, president of Bacolod Alliance of Commuters, Operators and Drivers; Lilian Sembrano, president of Kabacod Negros Transport Coalition; Rodolfo Gardose, president of United Negros Drivers and Operators Center; Eric Bindoy, secretary general of Undoc; members Shalimar Saleut and Melchor Umangayon.
