MANILA, Philippines — The German and Italian Navies underscored their commitment to boost defense and security relations with the Philippines as they adhered to an open Indo-Pacific.
Rear Admiral Axel Schultz of the German Flotilla 2, Wilhelmshaven, and Navy Capt. Guiseppe Lai of the Amerigo Vespucci, issued their statements in separate courtesy calls to the Philippine Navy Headquarters following their port visits last Sept. 16, 2024.
