MACROASIA Corp. (MacroAsia) on Wednesday broke ground on a seawater desalination plant project in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, that will be led by unit Summa Water Resources Inc.

In a disclosure, MacroAsia said the project would be built by Summa Water's wholly owned subsidiary, CSWater Lapu-Lapu Inc. (CSWLL), as part of efforts to provide sustainable water management solutions and reliable water supply to the city of Lapu-Lapu.
