Advanced surgical approach saves patient with giant brain aneurysm

MAKATI Medical Center's (MakatiMed) team of expert neurosurgeons successfully treated a 60-year-old female with a giant left internal carotid artery (LICA) brain aneurysm using multimodality neurosurgical techniques.

First diagnosed 13 years ago, the aneurysm had grown significantly, leading to the patient's left eye protruding and limiting its ocular movement.
