MANILA, Philippines — The UP Fighting Maroons manhandled the NU Bulldogs, 89-62, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Wednesday, September 18 to go 3-0 in the UAAP Season 87 men's basketball tournament.
A 29-14 first quarter start set up UP's onslaught of NU as the Katipunan side led by as many as 39 points, 76-37, following a Harold Alarcon trey with 50 seconds left in the third frame.
