MANILA, Philippines — Actor-singer James Reid revealed that Jeffrey Oh, his former partner in his talent agency Careless Music, deceived him and owed him more than P100 million, in addition to other liabilities from various companies.

In an interview with Ogie Diaz on his YouTube channel on Tuesday, Reid was accompanied by his legal counsel Rodel de Guzman. According to Reid, it was his former talent Liza Soberano who sought the help of de Guzman when Oh — a Korean-American businessman — was detained at the Bureau of Immigration in August 2023 for lacking work permits and other related documentation.
