THE Commission on Elections (Comelec) has extended the deadline for online filing of applications for reactivation to encourage and give more time to the more than 5 million deactivated voters to apply for reactivation.
In a resolution promulgated on September 16, the commission en banc gave deactivated voters until September 25 in order "to allow more Filipinos to conveniently reactivate their voter registration record without the hassle of physically going to the local Comelec office."
