Maynilad unit spends P50M to upgrade plant

MAYNILAD Water Services Inc. (Maynilad) said Tuesday that subsidiary Philippine Hydro Inc. (PhilHydro) had spent P50 million for the rehabilitation of the Legazpi City Water Treatment Plant in Albay.

The upgrade involved the inclusion of clarifier technology to facilitate the removal of sediments from raw water, making the treatment process faster and more efficient.
