ROS survives gritty NLEX to seal QF spot

MANILA, Philippines — Adrian Nocum sparkled in the extension period as Rain or Shine survived a gritty stand by NLEX to secure a 123-114 overtime win, sealing a playoff spot and grabbing a share of the Group B lead in the PBA Season 49 Governors' Cup on Tuesday at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

Held to a frigid 2-of-10 shooting through regulation, Nocum took charge in the extra five minutes after scoring seven of his team's 13 overtime points to seal Rain or Shine's sixth win in eight starts.
