THE Visayas Command (Viscom) has heightened its Disaster Response Task Group (DRTG) amid the increasing activity of Mount Kanlaon.

The enhanced alert came after the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) raised the Alert Level 2, signaling an ongoing unrest that could potentially lead to a magmatic eruption.
